Textiles are Pakistan's largest export industry, and its supply chain runs on imported inputs, machinery for the mills, dyes and chemicals for processing, and fibres and yarns when the domestic crop falls short. A held consignment does not just cost demurrage; it stalls an export order with a shipment window attached. We clear textile-sector cargo through Karachi's terminals and coordinate onward delivery to Faisalabad, Lahore, Karachi's own industrial areas and the rest of the textile belt.
On the export side we file garment, knitwear, denim, towel and home-textile consignments, reconcile them with your bank and e-Form requirements on PSW, and prepare the certificates of origin your buyers' markets need, including documentation supporting preferential access such as the EU's GSP+ regime.
Exporters rarely need to pay full duty on inputs. The Export Facilitation Scheme (EFS) allows approved exporters to import inputs duty- and tax-suspended against export commitments, and duty drawback recovers duties on inputs consumed in exports. Machinery may qualify for concessionary import under the Fifth Schedule or applicable SROs. We review every entry against these schemes, so the paperwork claims what you are entitled to.
